I hold an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Website Design and Development, which has provided me with a strong foundation in the field. I am passionate about applying the technical skills and knowledge I’ve gained to tackle innovative projects and overcome new challenges.

My expertise includes proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly in Animate, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I take great pride in my ability to design and develop impactful projects, and I am continually refining my craft to stay ahead in this ever-evolving field.

As a front-end web developer, I specialize in creating user interfaces (UI). This involves designing layouts, selecting images, determining navigation, and ensuring the overall presentation of the site is both visually appealing and user-friendly. I am proficient in the essential front-end languages of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which I use to bring designs to life in a functional and interactive manner.

Design & Refinement

I refine and test the design based on feedback, ensuring it meets project requirements.

Review & Approval

I present the designs for feedback and make revisions until the final design is approved.

Delivery of Finalized Design

After final approval, I deliver the completed design assets in the required format for their intended use.

Web Design/Development Process

Information Gathering

I carefully analyze the requirements, determine the website’s purpose, and determine the goals of the website. By researching the target audience, I can determine the age, interests, and habits this website will target. Acknowledging these questions will guide me in determining the best style for the website.

Planning

After gathering information from phase one, I utilize it to create a detailed website plan by developing a site map. The site map includes a list of topics and sub-topics the website will have. This helps me clarify the content that will be incorporated into the website and the navigational structure it will include.

Design

Once the site map is completed, I include the visual content such as colors, photos, videos, layouts, and fonts.

Functionality

At this step, I start to build the website. The above steps assist me in creating the look and functionality of the website. I develop and design websites to be user-friendly and easy to navigate.

Testing

During this step, I test all the links and buttons on the website, proofread for errors, and ensure the website is responsive and accessible on tablets and mobile devices.

Launch

Once I am satisfied with the design of the website, I make it live. I chose a scalable and fast managed hosting platform. After launching the website, I continuously perform testing, add updated content, and make updates as needed.
